Event  Toastmaster

Toastmaster for Corporate Events and Charity Balls

 

Having a Toastmaster at your event is a real asset – adding a safe pair of hands to your team and ensuring a sense of style and sophistication on the night. From corporate and charity events to social functions, I ensure everything runs smoothly to your requirements. 

 

In the past, I have been fortunate enough to work at fabulous venues such as the Royal Festival Halls, London, appeared along side household names such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra and presented to guest numbers of up 2,500.

My role as an Events Toastmaster is very much dictated by what you require. Typically, my duties can include any or all of the following:

 

  • Receiving guests

  • Organising the cloakroom and the safe storage of valuables

  • Liaising with the venue and catering staff to ensure drinks are served promptly

  • Announcing dinner and any speeches

  • Arranging transport for guests

  • Keeping the event to time

  • Acting as compere

  • Organsing musicians and entertainment

 

The above list is by no means complete. For example, if your charity event includes an auction, I’ll thoroughly research the lots prior to the event to ensure my knowledge is up to scratch. I may also introduce the band or act as compere – whatever you need!

 

Naturally, my main priority is ensuring you, the host, are enjoying your event without worrying about what’s happening behind the scenes. By being proactive and using my initiative, I solve any problems before they come to your attention.
